Roller Boogie

Monday night is now our chance to enjoy a roller skating event with a difference. "If the good Lord had meant for us to walk, he wouldn t have invented roller skates." — Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (the original) The dynamic Moroller skate marshal team (ahem!) are ready and waiting to teach us how to stand, skate and turn...or even some tricks if we step up to improvers. Either quads or inlines can be used and there is plenty of free body armour should you feel the need...

Doors open at 7.30pm with the first 30 minutes giving us a chance to get our skates on, meet up and warm up.

Then there's skate lessons from 8pm till about 9... after that legendary roller DJ 'Lake Skate' will pump out some phat tunes including soul, funk, retro and more.

It's a great night for us to skate, socialise and keep fit.

And at £5 admission plus £2 skate hire it's great on your New Year pocket too!
