First Thursday's Food for Thought

As I am aware that this could be a potentially expensive weekend with the Cowes Fireworks on Friday and the Chilli Fiesta on Sunday, I've looked around for a place that has a pleasant atmosphere and is good value for money.

A restaurant that has been on the list for a while, and comes highly recommended by Rich, is Taps, down at Shamrock Quay which has candelight dining inside and outside tables if the weather is good.  And, for those of you that have the Gourmet Society Dining Cards, the deal is buy one meal, get one free.

NB: You will probably need a car to get to this location, but I think that the journey will be worth it.  I can take 3 people from the Shirley area if you let me know beforehand.
