Chichester RAJF 2010

This year Katie Melua will be headlining the Chichester Real Ale and Jazz Festival and we have already (just 2 minutes ago) bought some tickets! The plan is to go by train from Southampton via Havant to pick up Helen onto Chichester. On the way back we are all invited to crash at Helen's so we can make it to the end of the festival without having to duck out early as the last train back to Southampton goes at quarter past ten!! There is lots of floor space, so if you are wanting to stay over, please let Helen know, so she can let you know what to bring.

But what of the Real Ale I hear you cry.. Well, there will be lots and lots and lots! Of course there will also be a nice selection of lager, cider, stout, wine, Pimm's and soft drinks. No hard stuff though. From their website: "We want all our customers to have a good time, and the real ale and wine will surely contribute to it. But in the interests of public safety and our licence, our staff are instructed not to serve alcohol to persons who move beyond the state of being merry to being legless."
