Rack 'em up and kick off!

After one hilarious competition we have the final results for you with regards to our Annual Pool Competition version 2010! There was strenuous discussion about which rules to play - and of course last year's champ's rules ruled as he did organise the event for us. There were some camouflage balls on the table, we graciously offered the kick-off to the opponent and used some prosthetics to help us play.

So.. Who won? Well.. Hold on to your hats...

In joined 7th place: Kirsty (who won one game, as Steve didn't mean to pot the white after the black) and Steve (who lost all, but the game to last year's champ!).

In 6th place: Hannah (who beat both last placed, so the pear cider worked).

In 5th place: Sophie (camouflage balls & kick off? You Hustler!).

In shared 2nd place: Mike (won his first game to his surprise), Gordon (muttermuttermutter) and Rich (who had probably 3 pints too many to care when he lost to Steve and got beaten squarly by a girl!).

And in 1st place and the winner of our trophy and organiser of next event (Houston?): Helen!!! She lost her first game, but bounced back with a vengeance despite the fact that she actually wanted to run around the table naked*!

It was a great afternoon and we are looking forward to the next (it doesn't have to take a whole year!). 

*The Pool Game Rules (in Rich's World): when you do not pot one ball, but your opponent pots all his (m/f), you will have to run around the table naked.. Luckily (?) everyone potted at least one ball as they went along!
