What time do you call this? - Marvellous Tuesday!!

Morning Peeps,

Hope you all had a fabulous Monday and are on your way to having a toe-tapping Tuesday. Apologies for this late arrival, but my laptop decided to have a hissy fit yesterday and would not play ball. After much persuasion ie some loving words of encouragement and some vicious beatings it has now seen the error of its ways and is letting me write this 'Blog' to you.

Last Thursday we decided to support the Gurkha's war against that nasty Mr Brown, by quaffing lots of their delicious food. Mmmmmmmm were the words coming out of every bodies lips :( For all those who missed out, i'm sure we will be planning a return visit in the near future.

Tonight we will be trying a more cerebral pursuit, in the form of our monthly pub quiz. We will be venturing to pastures new and meeting at the Bellemoor Tavern in Hill Lane (Opposite Tauntons College) from 8pm, in the vain hope we will think of a witty team name and not come last. If you wanna join the cause, please feel free to tag along!

We did plan to get on our dancing shoes this Wednesday for a spot of Mo'Jive, however your host (Ie Me) cannot make it. This has been postponed and will now start next Wednesday instead.

This Friday will see the return of 'Death by Shuttlecock' at Fleming Park (Eastleigh) from 7pm. You don’t have to be a world beater to join us, but please remember if you forget to keep hold of your racket and it ends up going over the net as well as the shuttlecock, you will incur a verbal warning (Vanessa you have been warned ). Contact me if you wanna join us.

This Saturday our phasers will be set to stun and we will be heading into Southampton to kill a few Klingons in the name of Entertainment. Yes, it’s the new old Star Trek film. We'll be heading down to the Ocean Village Cinema for around 7.30ish (Times not yet released, watch this space) with our trusty tricorders. Afterwards, we'll be heading to 'Ten-Forward' to sip a few Romulan ales (On Earth known as the Frog and Frigate). Let Hannah know you are coming so we can mail arrangements.
