Terrific Tuesday.... the new Monday.... again.....

Good evening my little Questarians....

Dont worry guys, our super chair person Kirsty has returned (Yippee), so its back to a marvellous and timely Monday blogging with a dash of huggles, and lots of grammer, spelling and piccies from next week. This will be my last shambolic, and im ashamed to say late offering, until I have spent at least six months on the naughty step, and thought about what I have done.

What did we get up to last week?

We rolled onwards and upwards with Mo'Roller and our host 'smoking Steve' on Monday. This was followed on Wednesday by much scratching of heads and general bemusement at the monthly London Hotel Quiz night. It was all too much for Steve and Gordon who valiantly stayed for a pint, but felt they needed a few more brain cells to make a telling contribution. Next month, we will be trying another venue (as well as The London), to see if we can get the grey matter firing on all cylinders. Venue to be decided.... any suggestions for a decent pub quiz will be welcomed.

On Thursday our cuisine queen took some traditional English fare... ie Curry. By all accounts the food was a side issue!! If you managed to get past the roadworks, you were faced by police cordons and  bomb squads. Rumour has it that Karen was turned away by the fuzz. Coincidence? With her Mafia connections, I think she may be a prime suspect!!! Chatting was apparently a little difficult due to the loud club music emmenating from beneath the floorboards from the club below.... pardon, sorry, what was that????Afterwards, they had to contend with a rampage of student partying outside..... Paraletic Mike is still missing..... shall we send out a search party??? Or is he still having too much of a good time....

Friday Tine took us out to 'Ye Old Shooting Star' for some drinkie poos and some dancing on tables to the infamous Gary Myles. I have yet to hear any reports, but I bet a good time was had by all.

Sunday, Hannah took us to see 'One Man Lord of the Rings' at the Theatre Royal in Winchester. Nice to see some culture on the calender at last. Again, not had any feedback, but ill bet with such a huge cast, it must have been fantastic :)

This week, myself, Hannah and the recently returned and probably sickeningly tanned Kirsty, will be venturing down to Bournemouth to see Newton Faulkener, the impressively, dreadlocked and red- bearded (like a pirate) singer-songwriter. He has very kindly agreed to perform a private concert for me, to help celebrate the annivesary of my birth. Ive said he can bring 5000 of his friends along too, as long as they behave.

On Saturday, Steve F is going to throw a party at his new pad and wants us all to come. Disco balls and twister have been promised (or threatened) and 70's and 80's fancy dress is the name of the game. If you are really lucky Karaoke may make a comeback. Simon Cowell is checking his diary as we speak.... Let Steve know you are coming, if you havent already.

Enough already. Till next week, till Kirsty makes her comeback, I wish you adieu.

Mike 'The Temp'

PS Might wanna set your clocks back a day, as Kirsty likes to be proactive and do her blogs on a Monday..... madness I know...
