Tantalisingly late Tuesday

Evening all. The understudy has been let out of his cage once more, to regale you tales of fun and frolics in the world of NAFOF.

Last Wednesday we tagged along with Hannah to watch 'Shrek Forever After' in glorious 3D. Bet it was fabulous. You just cant go wrong with a film about talking donkey's, talking cat's and a bald green ogre. Marvellous.

At the weekend, Paul guided us up some trees to spend some quality time with some Llamas at the 'Larmer Tree Festival' near Salisbury. Being allergic to wool I just couldnt take the risk, but apparently there were also a few musicians, comedians and other artists to distract you, if you're not the humble Llama's number one fan.

This Thursday, its another Club Night at the fabulous Trago Lounge in Portswood from 8.30, where we can have a chat and a pint and plot what lies in store for us in the coming months. If you are a quivering newbie, let us know you are planning on tagging along and we will keep an eye out for you and try as be as gentle as possible Smile Its also the booking deadline for more thrills, spills and rollercoaster madness at Thorpe Park. Let Kirsty know you want to come out to play on Wednesday 8th September, and hand over some cold hard cash on Thursday and she will book you a seat. Please also let Vanessa know if you want to waggle a sparkler or three and go 'ooh' and 'ahh' at all the pretty fireworks. The last day of Cowes week culminates in a fireworks display on Friday 6th August and NAFOF intend to be there in force to help celebrate. Wanna join us? Dont forget your life jackets...

On Friday, our gigging queen Tine is taking us to the Brook for a spot of nostalgia. The tribute act 'the Silver Beatles' are in town and she wants to know who's gonna join her in a trip down memory lane? I know, nostalgia aint what it used to be but its gonna be a fab and groovy party, man !!!

On Sunday, the hills are alive at the Hillier Gardens... yes its the 'Sound of Music' outdoor cinema, complete with a picnic, lots of nuns and possibly the odd sing song in a musical type way.... I shall be washing my hair, but contact Hannah and she may be able to squeeze you in if there are tickets left.

There's probably loads ive forgotten to tell you, which is all the more reason to come out and join us so you dont miss outCool. Next week its back to the much more professional and informative Kirsty, to guide you through the wonderful world of NAFOF.

Im heading back to my cage to think about what ive done....

Later

Mike
