Mini Marvellous Monday 7 Dec 09

As our chairperson is busy recovering from her globetrotting exploits, it has been left to me to step imto the breach and fill you all in, with whats been happening in the glorious world of NAFOF. Not sure this is wise move, as I attended a grand total of 0 events last week, so I am having to rely on hearsay (not the band), rumour and occasionally even slander to get this little blog finished....
Last Monday some of us may, or may not have grown flippers and tails and swum many miles, just for the sheer joy of it. Apparently some of you are off tonight to Fleming Park for more of the same. Im sure you could join them if that floats your boat....
On Wednesday, a highly intelligent and knowledgable crowd (Im using a little artistic licence here!) trooped down to the London Hotel for more cerebral shannanigans in our monthly quiz night. Rumour has it they finished a highly impressive second. Big claps all round.
On Thursday, our Infamous cuisine queen Vanessa led our hungry little soldiers down to the Giddy Bridge for refuelling and refreshments. A good time was had by all and hopefully next time Paul will be able to find us and share in the traditional monthly stuffing of faces!!

On Friday Tine took us down to Romsey to seen the fantastic Ryan O'Reilly strut their stuff (Amazingly they are not Irish!!) and on Sunday Laura led us all down the slippery slope of the Southampton Alpine Centre (Bet A & E was busy that night!).

So, what are we up to this week? Well, on Wednesday we are hitting the dance floor Mo'Jive style. Let me know you are coming and ill look out for you. On Saturday we are invading Southampton Guildhall for the Wave 105 christmas party. Not sure if there still tickets left, but click here  http://www.livenation.co.uk/event/8023/wave-105-s-colossal-cracker-of-a-... for more info and let Helen Bambrough know you are going. On Sunday Sophie is taking us for some festive ice skating at Winchester Cathedral. Contact her asap, if you wanna tag along.

My chairperson (who must be obeyed), has told me its the last call for our mafia murder christmas do, and also the hangover busting Mo'Roller disco. Get your skates on and contact Kirsty if you wanna join us.

Thats about it for now. Hopefully Kirsty will have recovered from the excitement of meeting Sinterclaus in all his glory back in the Netherlands, and will return next week.

Enough already...

Signing off

Mike
