Marvellous Monday (on a Monday!!)
Howdy folks. Hope your Monday is marvellous and not just manic. I have suprised and surpassed myself by actually writing this mini blog on the correct day. Bet our 'All Powerful chairman' wishes she was still in freezing cold blighty and not in baking hot Africa, to witness this historic event!!??
Anyhoo, ill make this brief and to the point and will not be using any colourful coulours or snazzy pictures to illustrate my points as I am merely a bloke and only a temp.... SIGH. The web mistress may see fit to tart it up a little if you are really impressed by that kind of thing? :)
Last week was a little quiet in NAFOF land, but we still managed to squeeze in a little rolling up, down and into walls, with the 'skate master'. Looking forward to more of the same this Friday, combined with some fabulous dance moves 90's style. Speak to smokin' Steve if you want to wheel yourself along.
On Thursday, Karaoke Steve took us for some impromptu drinkies and some A La Carte slugs and lettuces..... mmmmm crunchy.....
The weekend may well have been wild and wonderful, but, your humble secretary was a little busy so has no gossip, slander or libel to share with you ;( There is always next week...........
What have we got instore this week? Wednesday, is Orange 2 for 1 film and pizza night. Let Hannah know asap that you are coming and also to make your film choice. The options are:
The lovely bones
The wolfman
Valentines Day
Pizza Express in Oxford Street is the place to be - meeting at 7pm for filling of faces.
This coming week-end, you have the chance to boogie on down to the super Reggae hits of Bob Marley tribute band LEGEND at the Brook. There may still be tickets left, so contact Karen Unwin for a slice of Rastafarian heaven (not a pizza).
If you dont fancy roller skating, pizza stuffing, film watching or grooving to Sir Bob of Marley, then tell us what does float your boat. Then put in on the calender and see who turns up. Simples.....
Signing off....
Mike
