Marvellous Monday 8th Feb 10

Good Evening Party People! Another NaFoF week has flown by.. We went to Mo'Roller last Monday and met Sarah and Rob for the first time. It was great to meet you - you rolling around like you were born to do so! Hope to see you again soon (tonight?). On Tuesday we shuttled our hearts out at Death by ShuttleCock. On Wednesday we met Wendy for the first time during the Pub Quiz at The London Hotel. It was great to meet you too and we're hoping to see you again soon as well! Thursday was the night of the week were a big stack of us took over part of Mango. It was great seeing you all there! Wasn't the food (and the company) marvellous?! On Friday we were asleep for most of the day and evening (only a tiny hangover kicked in around 10am) and on Saturday a few went to see Avatar and another couple went to Oceana to party all night long!

There is quite a few events to get through again this week, so here it is:

Tonight (Monday) - We'll be meeting at the Mo'Club for another fix of Mo'Roller. Read Smokin' Steve's posting here for a little review from last week.

On Thursday we hope you all can make it to the pub for our Annual General Meeting. We will be discussing how we have been faring the last year (and a good year it was) and what is planned for the next. We will be voting in your SHQ new committee, so please come along. If all goes to plan, we'll be able to get this all sorted within the hour, so we still have a bit of a 'normal' club night afterwards. Please be at The Duke of Wellington at 8pm sharp!

Also on Thursday we need you to Pay Up (or miss out) for The Canterbury Tales (takes place on the 1st of May) and for Antony & Cleopatra (takes place on the 22nd of May) - both will be taking place at The Nuffield Theatre.

On Friday it is time for The Ultimate Girls Night Out.. If you haven't booked in - you will be missing out. Let's meet at The Mayflower Theatre at 7.45pm (show starts at 8pm).

Also on Friday Tine is taking us to a Gig at the Talking Heads with Chesney Hawkes, Dlugokecki, Rayguns Look real Enough. Get your ticket and let her know that you are coming along.. She'll tell you where to meet up and what time.

By Saturday (or before) Helen B would like to know who wants to come along to Legend (Bob Marley Tribute Band on Saturday the 27th of February) and if you want to come along to Kenny Ball & his Jazzmen and the Jive Aces (Jazz & Jive @ the BIC in Bournemouth on Thursday the 1st of April).

And on Sunday Karen is taking us to Stewart Lee @ The Nuffield Theatre. If you have pre-paid your ticket, I bet she will let you know what time to meet where.

In other news.. There is still space to come along to our Cheese Rolling Weekend on the 2nd May Bank Holiday (we won't be rolling the cheese ourselves, but just have a laugh watching), we are still planning on booking tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival and there is still room to come along to our Butlins 80s Madness Weekend.

Well, rest me to say; Delene, don't work too hard! Alan, don't work too hard! Original Mike, Brenda and Michaela - we're hoping your family members will all get better soon!
