Marvellous Monday 31st May 2010

Ba Ba Ba.. Ba Baby Bell!! It was another amazing week in NaFoF Land.. We only wish there were more hours in a day.. So, what happened last week? Well, we didn't come last at the Quiz at the Concorde Club! Well impressed with Original Mike's recollection of politics, when he was 8! We enjoyed Robin Hood in nice and comfy seats at the Vue in Eastleigh - the bad guy was pretty pretty! And what a night on Thursday.. We met a load of wonderful newbies at Trago Lounge; a warm welcome to Mark, Scott, Dawn, Gary, Becky and Paul (any of your mobile numbers end with 755? Happen to have an unassigned number in my phone and would like to add name to number)! It was really great to meet you all. Paul and Dawn have already come up with some other fab events and places to go to, so keep your eyes peeled on the calendar. It was also great to see Millie again, Rowena went home with a Membership Form and Rob, thank you for the lift home. And if you have followed us on Facebook, you will have been able to follow a weekend in the life of Mr Baby Bell. It was a great weekend! If we can find some time this week we will be posting the photos on here as well.

So this week we are hoping to see you all again at The Boozy Rouge on Thursday for our monthly meal out. If you haven't booked in yet, contact Vanessa and she might be able to squeeze you in.

On that same evening you can book in for our Annual Pool Competition, which will take place this Saturday from 2pm at AllSports Academy. No experience necessary, but if you are able to beat the reigning champ you get that nice little trophy to take home with you and put it on your own mantle piece.

Also on Thursday we need you to book in and pay up for our Belated First Birthday Party at Royal Victoria Country Park on Saturday the 19th of June from 6pm. The theme for the night is 'What do you want to be when you grow up?' and feel free to fancy dress.. We will sort out all your entertainment and food. Bring friends, family, neighbours and maybe even colleagues with you and anything else you need for a British Summer Barbecue!

And this week it is also time to let Laura know if you want to come along Kayaking with us in the New Forest. The date is not yet set in stone, so feel free to let her know your available dates - I bet we can work something out.

You might have also seen that Original Mike will be hosting the World Cup England and Holland matches this June. We start off with the England vs USA match on Saturday the 12th of June. Followed by Holland vs Denmark on Monday the 14th, England vs Algeria on Friday the 18th, Holland vs Japan on Saturday the 19th, England vs Slovenia on Wednesday the 23rd and Holland vs Cameroon on Thursday the 24th of June. If there is any other team you'd like us to follow all together - add it to the calendar and we will support along with you.

Well, there is probably much more gossip (Who gave Laura her phone number to at Helen's Party? Which car key party did Gordon go to? Why Sophie lashes out when she hears the words 'white van'? Who did Bev meet on holiday?), but we won't go into that this time..

Have a great week & see you at the Boozy Rouge and / or the Annual Pool Competition!
