Marvellous Monday 2nd of Nov 09

And a good evening to you too! I know.. A bit late today, but my excuse is that I am truly knackered after last week and the coming week is going to be just as busy. Not sure if we can top the fun we had, but we sure will try! So last week we skipped swimming (as we do tonight), had a fabulous evening with Newton Faulkner (Hannah, what's the next date he's around?), NaFoF'ers went for a Jive and a last minute Sound Bath and to top it all off.. Vanessa's Bday Halloween Fest!! This was truly the party of the year if not the decade and if you've missed it... Poor you! All who were there; any blood in your alcohol left? As you might have already noticed (members only) you have received a notification of a Story Page.. Go log in (members only) and have a look and add your own pictures.. Again - Thank You Vanessa for a Horribly Scary Halloween!

Today we have decided not to polute the pool with our fumes, so if all goes to plan: Swimming will comence next week again.. You can however join Ian at The Brook for Magnum tonight from 8pm.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) you can again join Ian at The Brook for Roachford from 8pm as well. It might be an excellent idea to (log in first and) let him know, so we can look out for you!

On Wednesday you can Mo'Jive along with Mike from 7.45pm. And again - log in - contact him, so we can make sure not to loose you in the crowds.

And on Thursday we are going Turkish with Vanessa.. Time again for our Monthly Food for Thought! You will have to (log in and) let our Cuisine Queen know that you want a plate too, as she needs to book the chairs to go with them on Wednesday! Dinner will be served at 8pm. This would also be the day to pay up for your Very Mafia Christmas Party!

Friday Tine is taking us to the Platform Tavern from 9pm for a free gig! It looks to be absolutely fantastic, so please (log in and) let our Gig Girl know.. The plan is to go to La Margarita's afterwards (only £3 entree fee) and boogie the night away!

Saturday afternoon we will be joining Helen M in Portsmouth for a trip up the Spinnaker Tower, Food and Shopping. Please (log in and) contact her to arrange meeting time and point.

And on Saturday evening we will be meeting up with Vanessa to enjoy the Fireworks at Victoria Country Park from 6pm. I bet there is a pub involved to warm up again afterwards. And again - log in - and let Vanessa know that you will be there too (I promise it will be a much better display than the bangers from me last Saturday!).

On Sunday we will be meeting in the pub next / close to The Nuffield Theatre from 6pm. We'll have one pre-show drink there and make our way to the Theatre for our long awaited Andy Parsons' Citizens! comedy gig. I have the tickets and you should know if your name is on it.. See you in the pub (I can't remember its name, sorry)!

Two more mentions this week.. Laura is looking to organise a Ski Taster Session on the 6th of December and if you want to come along, you will have to (log in and) let her know that you are ready for some snow! And Sophie is organising Festive Ice Skating in Winchester on Sunday the 13th of December - she'll need your monies this week to book you some skates! And of course, when you log in, you can contact her directly through the site.
