Marvellous Monday 21st of June 2010
Aloha Party People! What a week it was.. With highs and lows and anything in between. First things first; Sharon - I've received your email enquiry, but when I replied it came back - we might not have the right email address for you.. Please try again - we are looking forward to meet you both! So, what happened? Well, on Monday Holland won against Denmark (2-0), although the first one was a gift.. We also rollered along - forwards - in the evening! On Wednesday we didn't go see a film, but on Friday we watched England play Algeria (JaJa? More like NeeNee! 0-0). Saturday afternoon was time for Holland - Japan (1-0) and by the end of the afternoon about 30 of us ended up at Royal Victoria Country Park for our First Birthday Party! - it is on its way?!) and thank you all so much for humouring us by participating in all the games! We hope all of you didn't overdose on E numbers (but if you did - we're not taking any responsibility!).
So, this week it is time for some grown-up fun! Tomorrow evening (yes, Tuesday) you can go Unlimited Karting with Rich at TeamSport Eastleigh. He'll be there around 6.30pm the latest - if you let him know that you are coming along, he will look out for you. You will have to book this directly with TeamSport, so give them a call now (if you haven't already).
On Wednesday afternoon Original Mike and I will be going to The Mitre (NOT Wahoo) for another football match - this time it is England versus Slovenia. We will be there from 2pm, probably for some breakfast too.. We also will reserve you a seat if you let either of us know that you are watching along.
On or before Thursday you will have to let Hannah know if you want to come along with us to the Outdoor Cinema at St Hilliers Gardens for a showing of the Sound of Music on Sunday the 25th of July. We will be able to get cheaper tickets if we bulk buy (and enough people are coming along).
Sunday is time for another Great British Experience! Unless the heavens come down, we will be at the entrance at 2.15pm for a game of 20Twenty. There were quite a few people interested in coming along, so please let Smokin' Steve know that you will be there too, so we will be able to find each other.
Well, that was it for this week.. As you know there is loads more coming up. Have a look at the calendar and contact the event organisers if you want to come along to any of the events. I'm off to have my dinner and probably will go for an early snooze tonight..
