Happy Chocolate Days!!

After the lovely sunny weather it decided to ignore our pleas and gave us rain and grey skies.. Of course that didn't stop us on Friday! As it didn't seem to be a good idea to light the barbie (and the new decking at the same time), we switched the hob on, 'baked' a stack of yummy chicken legs in the oven and flipped some awesome burgers. Salads, crisps, scrummy chocolate cake and drinks completed our carpet picnic. It was great to see James and Paula again, to catch up with old friends and laugh our heads off.. All in all - it was a fab long afternoon!

Hannah posted her first last minute event on the calendar (Congratz & here's to many more!) and Vanessa started her Food Blog. Vanessa would like to have some feedback, so if you are a member you can leave a comment once you've logged in.

We had quite a few enquiries in the last week and hope to be able to welcome them all this week in the pub Smile Please note that we are meeting in a different pub this Thursday. And we might be changing pubs for the next coming few months on a regular basis. We are looking for a new place to meet, so decided the best way to do so is checking out establishments that are likely to suit us. If you have any suggestions - please let us know and we'll add it to the list!

So this Thursday - we'll be meeting at The Red Lion in Southampton City Centre from 8pm. When you (anyone with a log-on to the website) log in - you can see the exact location when you click on the event in the calendar or here.

At the moment we have booked 6 people in for the Sunday Lunch @ Southampton Cemetery on the 19th of April. If you haven't let us know yet that you are planning on coming along, please do so on or before upcoming Thursday. Although the walk itself doesn't cost anything, they would like to know numbers.

Also this Thursday we would need monies from all of you who would like to come along to PlayZone! on Friday the first of May. If all goes to plan, transport will be included from and to College Street car park.

Vanessa has posted the next 'Curry Night' and you can book your plate with her already! There is also another Quiz coming up and you can still book in for our Posh Party Cruise.

So, everyone - get your thinking caps on and your diaries out and we'll see you this Thursday!

Huggles,

Kirsty x
