Marvellous Monday 11 Jan 10

Good Day Snow Men and Ice Queens! We hope you are all still in one piece and haven't fallen over in the last week.. We did go for Mo'Roller and it was fanaticly good fun! If you are up for a challenge and on top of that want to have the feeling you learned something new by the end of the evening - this one is definitely recommended! Although we cancelled the Thursday Food for Thought at Cafe Mumbai; Skiing Steve, Gordon and Jan braved the weather and met up. They had a great time as VIPs in the restaurant and they want to go again (so we'll go again in March!). Oh Johhny was a nice and quiet night in at the SHQ Inn - it was great to meet Michaela and Alan. We were planning on watching more films than we did, but for whatever reason we couldn't stop chatting! It was a night to be repeated - next time Nicolas Cage?

Now - let me mention some deadlines first as some people have been very busy to fill your social calendar with lots of fun stuff. So get your wallet and cheque book out, contact the organisers and book yourselves in, so you won't be missing out!

Contact Mike on or before Friday this week if you have anything to add to our Annual General Meeting Agenda. There is still lots of space on the committee!!

Contact Hannah on or before Sunday if you want to come along to One Man LotR on Sunday the 7th of March.

Contact Mike if you are ready for another Death by Shuttlecock on Tuesday the 19th of January!

And last (for now) contact Karen if you want to come along to The Department of Smelling Pistakes on Tuesday the 16th of March.

So... What's on this week? Well, tonight (Monday) Smokin' Steve is taking us to Mo'Roller again for another fun filled evening! Wanna come along? We'll be there from about 7.30pm with our skates on! Have a look at his first ever event posting - well done, Steve!!

Mike (or is it Spud?) is taking us to Mo'Jive on Wednesday. He'd like to know if you are coming along, so he can look out for you! We'll be there from 7.45pm for some twirling action! No experience needed - this is one of those that even if you have two left feet - even you can do it! Promise!

And Hannah is taking us all for lunch, cocktails and Jazz @ The White Star on Sunday from 12.30pm. You'll have to have booked your plate with her otherwise you might end up just drinking coctails...

Well, blimey - the weeks are flying by already.. Not long now and we'll be celebrating our 3for1 Bday Party.. Please book in for that one on time!
