Marvellous Monday 15th Mar 10

Jambo! (hello in Swahili) How are you all doing? Reading the Terrific Tuesday's you had a fantastic time! I would like to thank Mike the Original for his wonderful writings and blooming blogs. And of course we also congratulate him on becoming as young as Ian.. So, what happened last week? Well, One Man Lord of the Rings was enjoyed by many, Newton Faulkner was an intimite affair and Steveski's HouseWarming Party was great and lasted almost until the sun came up. Anyone any good and / or embarrasing pictures? There is room to post them!

There is lots coming up, so let me start with this week and follow on with some more event announcements:

Terrific Tuesday.... the new Monday.... again.....

Good evening my little Questarians....

Dont worry guys, our super chair person Kirsty has returned (Yippee), so its back to a marvellous and timely Monday blogging with a dash of huggles, and lots of grammer, spelling and piccies from next week. This will be my last shambolic, and im ashamed to say late offering, until I have spent at least six months on the naughty step, and thought about what I have done.

What did we get up to last week?

Terrific Tuesday.... the new Monday

If lateness were a crime id be a lifer........ Apologies for the lateness of this blog but everything comes to he who waits....

So, what were we up to last week, I hear you cry?
Wednesday saw Gordon,Sophie,Hannah and smoking Steve venture down to Oxford Street in an attempt to find some tasty and cheap 2 for 1 pizza at Pizza Express. To their dismay, they were told there would be up to an hour's wait to fill their empty stomachs..... they couldnt wait so hightailed it round the corner to Prezzo. General consensus was that food was classier if a little heavier on the wallet, and we may be tempted to try this place again when the next Orange Wednesday comes around.

Marvellous Monday (on a Monday!!)

Howdy folks. Hope your Monday is marvellous and not just manic. I have suprised and surpassed myself by actually writing this mini blog on the correct day. Bet our 'All Powerful chairman' wishes she was still in freezing cold blighty and not in baking hot Africa, to witness this historic event!!??

Anyhoo, ill make this brief and to the point and will not be using any colourful coulours or snazzy pictures to illustrate my points as I am merely a bloke and only a temp.... SIGH. The web mistress may see fit to tart it up a little if you are really impressed by that kind of thing? :)

Last week was a little quiet in NAFOF land, but we still managed to squeeze in a little rolling up, down and into walls, with the 'skate master'. Looking forward to more of the same this Friday, combined with some fabulous dance moves 90's style. Speak to smokin' Steve if you want to wheel yourself along.

Marvellous Monday on a Tuesday

Its a new year (well Chinese anyway), so you have a new host. That's right, you've guessed it.... Kirsty is off sunning herself in deepest, darkest Africa, so ive been called into the breach to do her donkey work...... and fashionably late at that!!!

Last Monday, we had lots of fun getting our skates on and shaking our money makers (at the same time!) and rumour has it, one or two of our crew are getting rather good. If you wanna join us give Steve J a shout as this has become a regular Monday night event.

Marvellous Monday 8th Feb 10

Good Evening Party People! Another NaFoF week has flown by.. We went to Mo'Roller last Monday and met Sarah and Rob for the first time. It was great to meet you - you rolling around like you were born to do so! Hope to see you again soon (tonight?). On Tuesday we shuttled our hearts out at Death by ShuttleCock. On Wednesday we met Wendy for the first time during the Pub Quiz at The London Hotel. It was great to meet you too and we're hoping to see you again soon as well! Thursday was the night of the week were a big stack of us took over part of Mango. It was great seeing you all there! Wasn't the food (and the company) marvellous?!

Marvellous Monday 1st Feb 10

Aloha Bathers & Floaters! Well, last week was another one for the NaFoF history books.. On Monday we went for another Mo'Roller - and we are getting better and better at standing up. On Wednesday the pizza and film was enjoyed by many (it is such a good deal!) and on Saturday we went to Bath Spa to have a bath in their spa.. The journey over was interupting our sleep as the train was so full that we were contemplating to sleep in the luggage racks. Leanne enjoyed her hangover under coats and bags in the corner. Arriving in Bath, Vanessa knew exactly where to go, so we had breakfast at the nearest Wetherspoon (no, the wine bottle was not filled with wine - it was just an order number).

Marvellous Monday 25th Jan 10

Hello Dear Rockies and Magnetas! It was another busy week in NaFoF land and you have surely enjoyed yourselves one way or the other.. On Monday the gang went to Mo'Roller and had a great time, on Tuesday a stack went to play Badminton (Rich is still catching his breath), on Wednesday Mo'Jive was a little lonely due to Original Mike having car troubles (his current one is now a proper people carrier!), on Thursday I missed being at Que Pasa due to lateness at the airport, but heard that a few of you have been anyways (hope you found each other!) and on Saturday.... What a show.. What a party! There were some scary people at the after party and we must have scared some others too... I have now found the camera cable, so will be posting the pictures soon!

Marvellous Monday 17 Jan 10

Good Evening Chinese Checkers! Last Monday saw us once again at Mo'Roller for more fun and frolics. Hannah is leading at the moment with the best bruise in town! Don't let that scare you - Smokin' Steve missed the whole thing and was able to stay vertical - this event is getting rather popular and will be on our calendar for quite a while. Mo'Roller got rained / snowed out, so we're trying again this week and on Sunday we gained another member; Skiing Steve cought up and is now a fully fledged member! Well done and welcome to the in-crowd :) and we met Alex for the first time. Welcome Alex, it was really nice meeting you - we hope to see you back soon! We had a nice meal at the White Star, the jazz was a little loud, the bloody mary's plenty and I can't remember who won the doubles drafts game..

Marvellous Monday 11 Jan 10

Good Day Snow Men and Ice Queens! We hope you are all still in one piece and haven't fallen over in the last week.. We did go for Mo'Roller and it was fanaticly good fun! If you are up for a challenge and on top of that want to have the feeling you learned something new by the end of the evening - this one is definitely recommended! Although we cancelled the Thursday Food for Thought at Cafe Mumbai; Skiing Steve, Gordon and Jan braved the weather and met up. They had a great time as VIPs in the restaurant and they want to go again (so we'll go again in March!). Oh Johhny was a nice and quiet night in at the SHQ Inn - it was great to meet Michaela and Alan. We were planning on watching more films than we did, but for whatever reason we couldn't stop chatting!
