Marvellous Monday 30th January 2012

Well, the first month of the year is nearly done & our calendar is filling up nicely! There are even een stack of events in progress to be organised which haven't been added yet.. Last week we went to see J. Edgar - a very moving film! And during the committee meeting and Club Night we decided to fill part of the NaFoF Calendar with more fun & frolics. Sunday Lunch was another 'what are we doing?' event.. Vanessa, Mike, Ian and Andrew came up with the following -> This year our annual outing will not be Butlins, but Blackpool pleasure beach, pencilled in for the first weekend of November. The idea is to arrive around lunch time on Friday, have an early dinner (around lunch time??) and see Funny Girls (approximately £20pp).

Happy Year of the Dragon! Wow, did you make it to the Rockfest at The Brook last weekend? I bet you are still trying to recover! Well, you kind of have to as this week we have another stack of events for you to enjoy.

First we would like to point out another list of 'what to do' - just in case you were running out of ideas.. Have a look here & get involved!

Good Evening Everybody!! We had a great week in NaFoF Land, it has flown by.. On Tuesday we (the ladies of leisure) went to Leisure World for a bite to eat and a bit of Sherlock. The food was on time this time, we even had time to get an icecream before we found our seats in the cinema. The film was fun and clever and we loved Stephen Fry as Mycroft! On Thursday we went to the pub.. Well, most of us did (I missed out, as I got distracted in the kitchen with my new all singing, all dancing, all chopping toy and realised only when Rich found a text from Paraletic Mike that we should have gone to the pub - it was after 10pm by that point). So, apologies to all and even more so to Emma, Angela and Louise (hope I got that right).

Happy Birthday Simon! We hope you had a wonderful day and didn't work too much.. Last week we went to Janghir - yours truly wasn't able to make it due to an annoying cold and found out that she had missed out on a great night with nice food! All better now, so ready for the rest of the week!

Have you all booked in for Snuggs yet? If you haven't; please contact Michaela today to get your tickets sorted.

And did you know that Rhod Gilbert is coming to Southampton this summer? If you'd like to go and see him as well - same here: contact Michaela now & get yourselves booked in!

Happy New Year NaFoF'ers & other interesting party people!! Hope you all survived the festivities and are safely landed on the good side of New Year's Eve. Bet you are ready for 2012! Have you seen the events added already? Feel free to plunk in your own events too!

Marvellous Monday 12th December 2011

Happy New YearGood Afternoon NaFoF'ers and other interesting party people! How are we today? Have we managed to get over the weekend & are we able to wait a whole week for the rest of the Christmas parties to commence? As you might have noticed we didn't go ice-skating in Winchester as the weather might have melted the ice.. So we ventured out to Odeon to watch 'Hugo' by director Martin Scorsese and although it was less funny than expected, it was thorougly enjoyed!

Happy Sinterklaas Everyone!

As the Christmas month has started a lot of us are busy with shopping and parties. So your NaFoF Calendar might not look that busy.. If you would like to add anything - feel free to do so.. There might be some people left to play with..

Terrific Tuesday 29th November 2011

It must be love.. Only 25 days, 20 hours and 22 minutes to go to Christmas (nope, not me keeping count - Google is my friend!). Last week we had a great time at the cinema while we watched Arthur Christmas. Well worth the lovely glasses! During Club Night we had Carsten sign up - Yay! Another fully paid up NaFoF Member to join in the fun! Welcome!! We also met Jonathan for the first time (welcome to you too), discussed plans for another Mad Weekend (Rich and Sophie wanting to shoot at each other) and the weekend was madness:

Aloha Interesting Party People! Another week in NaFoF Land has flown by.. First I have to apologise to Tracy who I called Stacy - sorry hun, not on purpose; my brain was / is not working.. Welcome back to you and hope to see you again soon! We also have a report from the Blue Rinse Brigade (even Simon is planning on going again): "The Barmy Bingo well really well; none of us knew what to expect.  The Bingo was compared by Lucinda Lashes and it involved a bit of fabulolus singing (Lucinda has a really good voice - look at for her on BBC's The Voice shortly); and some very close to the knuckle jokes.  As a team we did really well, Pat won £35, then Tracy won £25, then Pat won House along with 5 others, so they split the winnings between them.

Terrific Tuesday 15th November 2011

Good Afternoon Y'all!

This week just a quickie: Tonight we'll be at the London Hotel for Lucinda Lashes Lucky Numbers Barmy Bingo from 7.30pm. Pat & Vanessa will be there to welcome you!

On Thursday we're off to Christmas Lights Switch on in Winchester with Sharon. Let her know you are coming along, so we can let you know where to meet when.

And on Sunday we're off once again to the Jolly Sailor for lunch at noon! Let Sharon know you are coming to join us, so she can book you a plate too.

Have a great week & see you tonight, Thursday and / or Sunday!
