Hello and welcome to NaFoF

We're not like any random social club (in fact we don't call ourselves a social club, we're a multi-activity club and) you'd really have to come and visit us to see for yourself. Granted, we might scare you off with our enthusiasm for life, the universe and everything, but nothing ventured..

Yes, we are very aware that the name is rather grandiose, but it does reflect who we are - we are not taking ourselves too seriously (world domination will be our next step Tongue out).. What we are taking seriously is having fun and making friends with like-minded people.

Happy Sunny Sunday!! Well, that took a while, but finally we are sitting in the sun writing this! We had so much fun last week! We met up at Zen and had an over-exuberant (how much sushi?) very tasty meal! It was great to see Tracy again (yes, your membership form will be on its way soon) and our newest recruit Rob; a warm welcome to you! Pat's home is coming along (when is the housewarming?), Original Mike couldn't decide which side of the table he was on and it was great to catch up with Carsten! Thank you Vanessa for organising another lovely meal out! We are definitely looking forward to the next one.

What would you like to do this Sunday afternoon? I was thinking of hanging out, having a beer and maybe even decide on food.. We could take a picnic to The Common, play a game, read a book.. The possibilities are endless.. Let me know if you want to come along and we'll think of something!

Marwell 40th Birthday Party

Vanessa and I are off to Marwell for thier 40th Birthday party and your all welcome to join us! For £16 you get entry to Marewell to see all the animals and they are also putting on other entertainment from stilt walking to chainsaw juggling! Please note though that it unfortunately won't be the animals doing this just humans (due to health & safety, I know its very dissapointing). We will meet at 6pm outside the main entrance and it finishes at approximatwely 9.30pm before it gets fully dark and the animals have naffed off to bed. Please book your ticket online and let me know you are coming so I can look out for you.

...apparently Dark Shadows is too scarry to be shown after 19:00! so we will be watching the 18:15 showing at Leisure World, meet as usual next to Frankie and Bennies about 18:00...

Frankie & Benny's/Fly Fishing In Yemen

Just for a change Kirsty and I are off to the cinema! We will be eating at Frankie & Benny's (leisureworld) from 4.30pm if you want to join us and then seeing Fly Fishing In Yemen at 6.30pm. If you fancy coming along please let us know so we can look out for you.

 To prepare us for our forthcoming trip to Transylavania myself Ian 'stake 'em' Strong and Mike 'cruxifix' Trotman will be heading down to Leisure World on Saturday to watch 'Dark Shadows'. The latest film about Vampires! We will be there from 19:00 and watch the earliest showing after this time...not sure yet of film times, I will update this post once known! It might be a little scary so the more the merrier...!

PS Garlic, crucifix's, stakes and silver bullets optional...although strongly advised!
